ZAID FINALLY SAID YES....

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim’s decision to join PKR, was expected, and came as no surprise to anyone. I hope his intellect and moderate stand will be a beacon of light to all Malaysians, to have hope of a better government in future.
I hope this lawyer with wide experience can help guide and transform Pakatan Rakyat into a formidable force in the next election……may the force be with you!

Zaid on his entry into PKR:

“I’m confident in the party’s cause. I believe I have an opportunity to assist Anwar and PKR,” said Zaid.

“I am ready to help Pakatan become an alternative and viable government that the people can rely on.”

Now will MCA leaders follow?

This is what Malaysian-insider has to say:

Zaid’s entry into PKR could be the push factor to convince a number of MCA leaders because he is considered a moderate Malay leader widely accepted by the Chinese community.

The former Umno man is also widely seen as someone who brings a more multi-racial approach to the opposition alliance because of his moderate views on Islam and race relations.

What about MIC?

So far no word from any of the MIC leaders yet, but I am sure there must be some rumbling in their backyard.

What will UMNO say?

Your guess is as good as mine……..cheers

ONE ANGRY PAS MAN.....

I found this posting in Malaysia for ALL blog. this is one angry youth... it has 60 questions.

read it if you can spare the time cheers....

An open letter to PAS Deputy President Nasharuddin Mat Isa

By An angry PAS youth leader (Malacca)

From: Malaysia for ALL blog

Ustaz Nasharuddin, when talking about PAS-Umno unity talk, please answer the following questions:

1. Why now?

2. Why not before the March 08 general elections?

3. What should we unite for? On what? About what? For what?

4. Is PAS a pure Islamic party that represents Malays and non-Malay Muslims or a Malay party?

5. What are the issues that we need to talk about? List them ONE by ONE. No cheap talk please!

6. Why PAS and Umno and not PAS, PKR DAP on one hand and Umno/BN on the other?

7. Why PAS and Umno and not PAS and PKR on one hand and Umno on the other?

8. Why you and not Najib Razak and Anwar Ibrahim, after all Anwar has more Malay support than you do and he is the head of Pakatan?

9. What is it that Umno lacks that need PAS support? The passage of Hudud laws in Parliament? Did Umno bring such laws to Parliament in the first place? And even if Umno were to do so, (which will never happen anyway), do we need to talk? Can't we support such amendments while we are pure PAS members in Parliament?

10. Why did we go into the elections to get PAS leaders of our own and now you are telling us that we need to follow Umno leaders? Do you know we paid many prices for being in PAS? Do you know that Umno tormented us for decades for being in PAS? Do we need to list the agony and pain we went through? Or Nik Aziz as Kelantan MB went through?

11. What is it that Umno led by Najib Razak realizes today that needs our support? Be specific. You aren't singing lullabies to children.

12. In what way do we keep the legacy of all past PAS Presidents by betraying their legacies when they left us for God's mercy?

13. Is Umno ready to improve the police, judiciary and civil service personnel that it needs our Parliamentary support?

14. And if that's the case, PKR and DAP will support such plans (which Umno will never do anyway), so when will we have PAS, PKR and DAP vs Umno “unity talk”?

15. Is it us who chose to be the enemies of Umno or Umno chose otherwise?

16. Is it us who tormented Umno people or it is us who paid heavy prices for being in PAS?

17. If the talk is about “issues concerning the nation” as you said, then why do we need constant talk about it in the media so much so that you fail in your parliamentary duties and as a PAS leader?

18. Is it PAS alone that's concerned about the nation? What about PR parties and NGOs? Are they part of the “issue driven discussions”?

19. Why are you interested in something that will divide PAS and make us lose focus while we are on threshold of achieving an imminent victory in the near future insya Allah?

20. Perak PAS Commissioner Ustaz Ahmad Awang revealed in the Muktamar that a “national PAS” leader has tried to influence him to accept an all Malay state government in Perak, who is this leader?

21. Do you think Malaysia as a nation state can continue to exist if we go on that road and impose Malay leadership on a state like Perak which has more than 45% non-Malay inhabitants?

22. In your opinion, was that leader right in suggesting that idea that Ustaz Ahmad Awang rejected?

23. Non-Muslims who have shunned us for 5 decades are running to us; do we embrace them and show them the hospitality and protection Islam offers them or do we return them to the “enemy” they ran from?

24. Umno started attacking the Chinese and Indians when they deserted Umno for PAS, yet Umno won in 1999 on Chinese and Indian vote and not Malay vote, why did Umno not call for Malay unity?

25. Is it only PAS that needs to be fearful of Malays when it gets non-Malay vote? Since when did PAS Malay supporters show enmity towards non-Muslim PAS supporters? Did PAS lose Malay ground by getting Chinese and Indian support? If that's the case, why is Umno desperately trying to woo them back?

26. Do you think Umno would talk of Malay unity if it was getting the “fixed deposit” Chinese and Indian votes as usual?

27. How would Islam's image be affected by your betrayal to the non-Muslims?

28. Do you know that for Islam to be implemented in Malaysia, we need the understanding of the non-Muslim community? Did we learn from Sudan's former military President Jaafar Nimeiri who imposed Sharia while ignoring the views of the non-Muslim community? Many Islamic scholars implored him to “at least” make the non-Muslim community to understand what was being done. But Nimeiri being a military man went ahead and declared Sudan an Islamic state and crushed all the opposition. Today, we have Southern Sudan (to be a separate nation in 2011) as a result. The nation continues to bleed till today. All it took was for one man to rush and pretend that he was intelligent and “God fearing” and that he was “uniting Muslims under God's decrees”.

29. Do you appreciate that Anwar Ibrahim and Lim Kit Siang have been useful to us?

30. Do you appreciate that DAP has improved our image in the Chinese heartland so much so that Chinese villagers who would have puked at seeing PAS's flag today overwhelmingly vote for us?

31. If yes, how do we repay them? Do we betray them and ignore them or we build better bridges with them and from thereon move forward and have our direct contact with the Chinese community established?

32. Do you appreciate that PKR and DAP have been useful to us? Between Umno and PKR and DAP, which party(ies) has helped us to be where we are now? Umno fought us, fights us and continues to do so in a cruel manner, do PKR and DAP do the same?

33. Do you believe PAS alone can rule Malaysia NOW? If yes, how? If not, how do we go about it?

34. Do you believe that Anwar Ibrahim's New Economic Agenda, the Lingam Tapes, his detailed NEP misuse information, his mistreatment at the hands of Umno, the 1998 episode, his charisma, his experience, his networks, his campaign for our members in different states and his ability to convince DAP leaders to stop attacking PAS and instead concentrate on Umno has been useful to PAS and enabled us to win in a number of places we couldn't imagine? Remember, it was only Anwar and Raja Petra Kamaruddin who repeatedly said Umno will be routed prior to the elections while BN media practically lynched Anwar and asked “who is Anwar”?

35. If your answer is yes, how do we repay him? Do we betray him now or we work with him and after he leaves, we install either you, Husam or Mohd Nizar as a replacement? If not, tell us how you won your seat in Yan in Kedah in 1999.

36. If you have popular Malay support, why did you lose in Besut? Why did PAS lose Terengganu since we are “more Malay” than Umno itself? Did you learn something? Why did Nik Aziz maintain his grip on Kelantan? Any lessons?

37. We used Mohd Nizar as an experiment and it yielded results; how do we achieve a national result now? And in what way does talking to Umno make PAS's ideals realized?

38. An Islamic party has a moral duty to its Muslim and non-Muslim friends. Why are you reluctant to have a “unity talk” with either PKR or DAP or at least PKR which is a multiracial party but a Malay majority party in the grip of Malay leadership as well? Where is your honour in showing respect to comrades who struggle(d) with you?

39. What are the similarities between Umno and PAS that necessitates talk in the first place?

40. Many of our leaders are victims of ISA and other cruel Umno engineered rulings just like all PKR and DAP leaders are as well, what are the ideals we share with Umno that calls for PAS to desert like-minded PKR and DAP leaders for Umno leaders like Najib, Nazri Aziz, Kerismuddin, Bung Mukhtar Radin and Khairy?

41. PAS contested non-Malay seats and won (take Dr Siti Mariah for example); PKR (Malay MPs) have contested non-Malay seats (take Zahrain Mohd Hashem of Penang-PKR) but DAP didn't contest a single seat with Malay majority. So, in what way does DAP constitute a danger to us?

42. If Malays are divided, who is to blame? And when did this division start? How and why was PKR formed? Why was PAS ejected out of BN when we joined them after we lost everything?

43. Which party closed its door on many Malays and even passed a resolution banning the return of any party member who has defected to another party? Umno! The same Umno wants Malay unity now? You buy that? And that unity is about what? After all, even a husband and a wife are not united!

44. PAS has been there for decades, were we united with Umno? If the unity talk is about issues, we supported Umno on certain issues in the past and we can do now when need be, so why talk about unity?

45. Does Umno have a heavenly decree to rule Malaysia and lead the Malays? Why NOT insist on PAS totally replacing Umno as the dominant party in Malaysia and lead Malaysia as well?

46. In what way do we achieve PAS's struggle by talking to Umno or uniting with it?

47. PKR and DAP have supported issue based discussions in the past. Anwar said he is ready to meet Najib on Perak. Anwar said he is ready to support constitutional changes that improve the judiciary and other state institutions. Lim Kit Siang repeated the same. But they didn't talk about PKR-Umno unity or Umno-DAP unity! Why us? Can't we be a constructive opposition party without ever meeting Umno face to face?

48. Why do you need to demoralize the highly charged PAS now?

49. Umno Kelantan leader Che-Alwi has called on Tok Guru Nik Aziz to resign since he couldn't get his “people” into PAS Central working committee, do you realise that it is you more than any one else who has divided PAS and is confusing the younger cadres? And do you cherish Umno leaders badmouthing PAS' most respected political figure? Yet you want to talk to Umno? So you want to reward them for humiliating Nik Aziz?

50. Khairy launched a scathing attack on Tok Guru Nik Aziz and hired Mat Rempits during last year's elections, he said Nik Aziz failed and can't provide leadership. He came up with the Pade-doh campaign that humiliated the elderly leader. Tok Guru cried and many of us did whatever we could to rally to him. The same Khairy today says we should unite. So you support Khairy instead of Nik Aziz? For you Khairy and his ilk are better than Nik Aziz? Explain yourself!

51. Why are you wasting PAS's time on irrelevant issues that will never happen rather than strengthen the party, raise its profile among the unwilling Malay supporters and further engage the non-Malays, Sarawakians and Sabahans?

52. Why are you silent? Why is Utusan your media? Why not the popular blogs, Malaysiakini, Malaysian Insider, Malaysia-Today, The Nutgraph etc?

53. Tell us what you have done for PAS and PR in regard to making policies, revising them or coming up with issues that are of concern to Malaysians.

54. Rather than wasting your time in seeking Utusan Malaysia coverage, why not spend time with PAS's soldiers in the trenches in Negri Sembilan, Johore, Pahang, Malacca and other states who are preparing for the future?

55. Umno won't give PAS the PM post, so why should we talk? Doesn't that mean you despise your own leaders?

56. You can't manage a simple victory like the one we have had now, how do you intend to manage a bigger one? You are exactly the kind of leaders martyr Sayid Qutb warned against when he wrote in his “This Religion” book that an Islamic leader who can't manage victory will betray Islam's cause.

57. Do you know for a leader to succeed, he has to be loved by his soldiers? Why are you making yourself hated in PAS and Pakatan? Why not listen to what the voters want? Are you honest with your Creator and yourself and with us?

58. What gives you the strength to contradict Tok Guru Nik Aziz? Is he your age-mate? Can you tell us one achievement he has accomplished on any front that you remotely even tried to achieve let alone achieving?

59. Many people (the intellectuals, economists, authors, NGO's and highly educated/urbanite Malays) don't understand PAS. What have you done in the past one year for them to understand us? What have you done to make PAS liked by all people so that it becomes a giant party in the future and even rule alone or with PKR?

60. Umno is for racism which is haram in Islam, selective justice, tribal hegemony, oppression, exploitation, endemic corruption, family rule, hatred, division, lies, sodomy and dirty politics, total destruction of state institutions (look at Perak), and in Umno's history, it has the least popular leader in Najib Razak today. For God's sake, what do we benefit from such a party and scandalized leadership? Do you believe we share more with Umno than with PKR and DAP?

We are waiting for answers and we demand them now. We are becoming impatient. When we voted for you (including myself who is a youth leader from Malacca), we did it because we hate to humiliate incumbent leaders and your age also mattered.

You were young and we thought a new chance had to be given to you. Removing an incumbent was more traumatizing for us as PAS members than installing a new one. That is why Datuk Husam Musa was not elected. It is not that he is not liked. He is indeed. Far more liked than you. From now on, we demand that you stop your unity talk nonsense and concentrate on PAS and PR. Otherwise tell us the truth and then we can go our separate ways. As simple as that!

ENGLISH COMPULSORY ?

KUALA LUMPUR (June 8, 2009) :
The Education Ministry wants to make a pass in English compulsory for students to obtain their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.

Dear DPM Muhyiddin,

Your heart is in the right place, but your brains is a non starter! do you know how many students are going to fail if this imbecillic idea is implemented!....

you cannot teach old dogs new tricks, was justly said.  if you really want our schools to improve, start at the very bottom of the chain. yes start with the pre school and primary ones. it will take 17 years from now to have a batch of decent english speaking students, but thats the way it should be!.... no quick fix super glue ,here and there.... it must start from the roots, only then the tree will be strong.

it's just like telling all your ministers to study hindi, and if they fail, they will be kicked out. i guess no minister's will be left. thats the problem with you people, all you want is quick fix without having any real concept of reality.

to start with, do you have the logistics ? do you have the teachers ? i guess thats why it is said that the the art of politics is to look for trouble, finding it everywhere , diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies!

although you see the need to master english (which is good), is far sighted and malaysia needs it rightly so, you have to be more patience in the implementation. it took 25 years for the system to change from english  to bahasa, so if really want the best for our future, start at the roots and stop barking at the wrong tree.....cheers

1MALAYSIA

What is 1Malaysia?

Our country will mesmerize the WORLD if only 1MALAYSIA follow these steps!

The CAT concept

1) having a Competent government
2) having a Accountable government
3) having a Transparent government….. in short a CAT system

The separation of powers concept

1) the executive, the legislative, the judiciary, the monarchy should be strictly independent.
2) A neutral party (royal commission) with draconian powers to investigate and bring to justices all the wrong doers in the four branches of the government, without fear or favor.

The civil service concept

1) to free the civil service of political baggage
2) to implement a system of meritocracy
3) to provide service that transcends ethnic and racial discrimination and to bastardise cronyism and nepotism

The publico philosophy concept

1) to create an atmosphere of racial harmony by removing all racial barriers and throwing the books at racist (Start with Awang Selamat ).
2) To have a world class education system, by nurturing the best young brains and hiring the best intellectual’s to teach and educated our young.
3) To implement a policy of equitable distribution of wealth and to rid the country of corruption, hypocrites, neantherdal politicians and brain deficiencies moronic leaders masquerading as statesman.

Malaysia is such a beautiful country, gifted with much natural resources and talent. But after 50 years of independence , we still no where what our neighbour Singapore is. Look at their education system, transport system, health system, housing system all world class, all archived with almost zero natural resources. Why can’t we be like them? For one thing, with people like the psycho Awang Selamat still running loose in our neighbourhood, and sodomizing the harmony of our nation with his idiotic malaise we will still be a third world country come another 50 years!

IT'S LAUNDRY DAY

When retired government servants are maneuvered to a corner, and their rice bowl is sodomized, then all the conspiracy and dirty laundry comes out in public...

Mat Zain has finally lite the fuse too an explosive story which, i can only assume will send many people running for cover. The blogger sphere will be running out of broadband space with these explosive story for the next few days.

Many high profile people were mentioned in his statement, so will all these moronic scrotum bags, who masquerade as esteemed stalwart of law and order in bolehland, finally see doom?

I guess not, as these chauvinist draconian beneficiaries who assume that its their birthright to rape, bastardise and mortgage our bolehland, will yet find another loophole to counter this transgression of their private play ground. As it was once said "our path is such that even angels dare not tread.

So Mat Zain, I only hope you will not be another PI bala, but if you intend to stay and fight, may God protect you........cheers

NH CHAN- UNJUST JUSTICE

NH Chan, a retired judge of the courts of Appeal wrote in the malaysian insider that the three judges of the court of appeal which heard the Nizar/zambry appeal on who is the true MB, has said the that the judgment is wrong.

Now why am I not surprised? Everybody in Perak and Malaysia (except for BN ) knows these as for a fact. The learned judge NH Chan gave a detailed breakdown of the facts in his article in the insider. He even priased the High Court judge Abdul Aziz for the impeccable judgement.

a small extract of NH CHANS article from malaysianinsider:

It seems to us ordinary folk that the Court of Appeal has missed the point. They decided that Zambry was properly appointed Mentri Besar under Article XVI(6). That is not correct — he could only be appointed under Article XVI(2)(a). Since there cannot be two Mentri Besar and Nizar the incumbent Mentri Besar has not resigned and, further, since the legislative assembly did not decide if he has ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the members of the assembly, Nizar, unquestionably, is still the Mentri Besar of Perak.

Before I sign off, I wish to say a few nice words to the High Court judge. Mr Justice Abul Aziz Abdul Rahim is a fantastic judge. The judgment, especially the piece on the interpretation of Article XVI(6), is so good that it has persuaded me to change my mind on my view of Article XVI(6). If you remember my first article, I have expressed an opinion on Article XVI(6). Now I know I was wrong — and I have to thank Abdul Aziz J for showing me the way.

So now can we throw the books at these three judges, for the wrong judgement?

PKR BRIBED ME

(picture from malaysiakini)

If what this lady "Aminah " says is true, then PKR is no better then UMNO. She has audio as well as video to support her case. I sure would like to get my hands on these evidence, just to see the truth of the matter with my own eyes and ears.

In this day and age its is difficult to discriminate truth from fiction. If it is true then I hope the ACA will come down hard on the cronies and the people behind them. If it is staged evidence then I hope the police will do their job.

But I am also wondering...... is not penanti in Anwar's backyard, and PKR is 100% confidence in retaining this seat. Then why (if Aminah is truthful), go to this extend?.....It makes no sense to me? Or is it another drama to make Penanti election more dramatic since UMNO is no show?

As in most matters we layman only can wait and watch as the drama minggu ini plays itself out....cheers

KHIR TOYO CRIES WOLF

Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, who was yesterday suspended for a year from the Selangor State Assembly, vowed today to continue speaking out against the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) government.

In his defence, Khir said Selcat has no right to investigate Balkis as the organisation was under the jurisdiction of the Registrar of Societies (ROS).

Why is this guy so stupid? The money misused is from Selangor state government and thus public money. So they have every right to ask for accountability. How did this joker become an MB? The hypocrisy of it all. My dear ex-mb, bark all you want, as barking dogs seldom bite!
I am wondering why the Anti-corruption people are mum on this one?

“ CORRUPTION HAS NO EXPIRIE DATE”

Another strange thing is the silence from his supporters is deafening……or has Najibs administration  abundant this guy for good?....cheers

MAT REMPIT RELABELED?

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have relabelled Mat Rempit as road thugs (samseng jalanan) and are now seeking a mandatory jail sentence for them.

A typical “Mat Rempit” tends to be in his youth, and being youthful and all the energy to spare tend to have an affinity for high speed motorcycle races and performing stunts on public roads. Sounds like fun, but they are also known for their mob mentality (if one crashes into you on the road, expect his posse to come and beat you, and your car, up). Mob mentality aside, they also sometimes double up as roadside snatch thieves.

Recent media highlights of snatch thieves, causing death , has put them in very bad light.
I don’t understand how changing their names to road thugs, will help reduce this problem? What the PDRM should be doing is get to the root of the problem. Why this people want to be mat rempits, Then engage them and find a solution. No point just talking and having long prison terms to solve the problem. These are young people, thus they can be changed, if handled properly.

As we know youngsters are basically rebellious and it’s a phase they go through, no point putting a black mark on their records. Yes they will be some hardcore ones, and for these people PDRM should bring the maximum weight of the law on to them.

I am sure if PDRM put more man power out on to the roads, especially at night the problem can be reduced. But you and I know that PDRM are too busy doing other things
That they cannot afford to put more manpower to keep our roads safe. A case of priority problem. Hope the PDRM leaders can set their priority straight, instead of chasing innocent public on peaceful demonstration!.......cheers

PENANTI SURRENDER

Najib has taken a calculated risk in making this landmark decision.

First he went against Dr M advise and second he has further dented the sagging morale in BN.

So now the question is are we going to see Dr M's gun trained on his blue eyed boy?. To bite the hand that feeds you is very very dangerous ,just ask Badawi, he is the right person to advice, as he had first hand experince.

The morale of BN has been on the rocks since the 2008 elections, now with this decision , there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel, and I am sure many in the BN's group will be asking why?.

Yes the reason given is logical, wasting money, don't want to play political games with PR....ect

Why not be truthful instead?....WE CANNOT WIN, SO WE WON'T CONTEST!

I guess the truth hurts!

as G Marx once said:

"politics is the art of looking for trouble , finding it everywhere, diagnosing it

incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies...." hope this is not the case..cheers

RULE OF THUMB

With all the wars going on, MB wars, speaker wars and what no, Don’t despair, relax, tomorrow is another day to fight.

In the meantime take a break and chill out and impress you friends and family with this good to know knowledge.

1) In the 1400's a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb.
Hence we have 'the rule of thumb'

2) Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was invented. It was ruled 'G entlemen

O nly...L adies F orbidden'...and thus the word GOLF entered into the English language.

3) The first couple to be shown in bed together on prime time TV were Fred and Wilma Flintstone.

4) It is impossible to lick your elbow.

5) If you were to spell out numbers, how far would you have to go until you would find the letter 'A'? Meaning spell , one, two three, four….. until you come to a number with the letter ‘a” in it. Would you believe me if I told you , it will take a long count before you reach it. 0 to 999 does not have any letter ‘a’ in it! Thousand is the first in the number series with a ‘a’ in it.

6) The only food that does not spoil is ‘Honey’

Footnote: at least 95% of people who read this will have tried to lick their elbow!

Yours truly included……..cheers

SPEAKER WARS

Sivakumar files suit against Ganesan

UPDATED-MALAYSIANINSIDER

IPOH, May 15 — Ousted Perak Speaker V. Sivakumar has filed an injunction to stop Barisan Nasional’s Datuk R. Ganesan from preventing the former from exercising his duties as the legitimate speaker.

Should the court hear the suit, which was filed at the Ipoh High Court at 11.45am, it will force the judiciary to settle the issue of who is the rightful speaker, a position central to the current impasse.

Great now the real speaker and the not so real speaker are in the ring....i am flabbergasted, why the PM is dragging his leg on this one. While the real beneficiaries can just sit and watch!...Hello, knock, knock, MR 1MPM6, yes you Najib, has not this preposterous , pathetic, audaciouslly sodomized PERAK state had enough!

Has not the masquerade gone far enough? Have not we embarrassed Malaysia enough. Can we drop the chauvinist EGO and get to work. Are you waiting for divine intervention.
Stop this rape on our democracy and the mortgage of our integrity..... forget the courts.....DO THE RIGHT THING.......FOR THE SAKE OF 1MALAYSIA!

NEXT CHANGE-PERAK POLLS

As the pressure cooker in Perak is boiling, the talk of by-elections is getting more support.

Now MCA vp has also joined in the bandwagon, calling najib to heed the peoples wishes.

As the pressure mounts , looks like the seams are cracking at the sides and looks like our MB sesat

would be made the fall-guy?

najib has washed his hands ,when he said mahatama camry kadeer was his point man in Perak.

punters odds for now is BN will only manage 15 seats if it goes to election, with 2 seats borderline case.

Now you know why BN is dead set against any by election.......cheers

NAJIB MAKE UP YOUR MIND PLS!

Yesterday say one thing, today say one thing, then tommorow what?

Yesterday cakap let that mahatma zambry kadeer decide .

Then today cakap let Sultan Perak decide.

Tommorow i suggest you take that submarine of yours and leave, dont't come back!

come on man you are the PM of this country! Order the real MB and the not so real MB of perak

to pay a visit to the Sultan of Perak and solve this grave that you dug.

maybe than can you win back some credibility!!!......cheers

Home Minister: Mr Hishammuddin said he would be chairing a committee that would bring together legal experts from various departments under the ministry in an effort to look at outdated laws, including those related to the Internal Security Act .

'The review of the ISA involves looking at possible amendments to many Acts that I myself see as being no longer suitable,' he said. - THE STAR/ANN

SPEAKER HARAM SAYS HE’S HALAL

Two time looser speaker haram Ganesan is self proclaiming he his halal.
He proclaims everything done to elect him was by the BOOK?????
Which book?
How thick a skin can one have? First without shame the Gandhi wannabe, Pangkor Pele walks into the state secretariat building with police escort and sits in the MB chair without shame, even after the high court ruled him as haram. Pretending like nothing happened.

Then this syunkai haram speaker says he is elected by the book. I think this guy is a lawyer of some sort, and me thinks he is using his wrong end to do his thinking and speaking. My dear speaker haram if have the two nuts that GOD gave you , please go to the central market in IPOH and say those words again “ I am the speaker”, instead of hiding behind that split personality dr camry. If the people of Ipoh don’t run you out of town, then you can be the speaker.

“ NATURE GAVE US TWO ENDS, ONE TO THINK , ONE TO SHIT”
SO PLEASE USE THE RIGHT ONE WHEN YOU SPEAK …….CHEERS

LATEST!

COURT OF APPEAL GRANTS STAY TO ZAMRY AND 5 EXCOS....... MORE TO COME

THE MOST EXPENSIVE ASS IN MALAYSIA

A big tycoon was conned into investing $25 million in a donkey, so says the rumors in the blogger sphere. I hate rumors, and I hate liars.

But I could not understand why would any numbskull pay such good money in the first place to buy a donkey that goes hee haw and bites people and tell lies, that’s why I say it is not true.

A donkey is just that a totally stupid ass, nothing more nothing less.
You may ask what are the lies that this $25 million donkey said, wah lau man, a talking ass, a donkey that talks and tell lies, wait a minute, can that be why it cost that much money??. The tycoon is not stupid after all, but still its only rumors , no proof, and I hate rumors and liars!

Anyway what did the donkey lie about?
Well it all started in may 2008, when it was reported that a donkey who became a dun wanted to defect to greener pasture . But the dun donkey (DD) said, quote “I am aware of the rumors but claimed to be in the dark as to who were behind it and what were their motives. I don’t want to be drawn into this discussion, if it is real, the truth will reveal itself in time... Time will tell." Unquote

Then in feb 2009, this DD went missing: "DD disappeared for over 12 hours, leaving DAP leaders sweating and desperately trying to locate DD, thereby adding to speculation that DD would cross over to greener pastures. But after they managed to get the DD, it reiterated that DD has NEVER entertained any intention to defect to greener pastures or to leave the DAP.

The very next day you see the msm flashing this picture!

I hate rumors and I hate liars. I am thinking loud, why is our esteemed PM seen with this liar? Can there be any truth to the saying “ birds of a feather flock together” ? NO, absolutely no, I disagree, our PM is above this, our PM is not a liar, come on man, he came out with the 1Malaysia, how can anyone who comes up with that be a liar, definitely not!
Then why is he in the picture , I think it’s a conspiracy, to discredit our beloved PM.
Well anyway back to the DD, so the DD finally jumped ship after lying all this while.
I hate rumors and I hate liars.

Then on may 7th , DD showed the whole world why a donkey should not be taken for granted.
At a press conference, just after the perak fiasco, DD had claimed that it pointed it’s hotel key-chain and not a pepper spray canister at YB Yee.
But then being an ass, the donkey never understood that we have digital cameras, and instant pictures. “ a picture says a thousand words”.

DD now made a u turn and claims that the canister allegedly used against Yee did not belong to it.

DD claimed that someone from the assembly sitting had thrown the canister in it’s direction and it had just picked it up from the floor and asked Yew whether the item belonged to him. it said that is all it did. I hate rumors and liars.

Now I am wondering whether the tycoon’s investment was worth it?. Or would he be cutting his loss and try to regain his money? …… my suggestion is hold on to your investment , as you can use it for other purpose. One suggestion, is use the MSM to spin the donkey story and make money to recoup your loss. How you ask : I have attached a sample below…….cheers

(recycled from an earlier post- on how newspapers can spin a story)

A pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. The pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race again, and it won again.

The local paper read:

PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT

The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race.

The next day, the local paper headline read:

BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ASS

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get rid
of the donkey.

The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.

The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline
the next day:

NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN

The bishop fainted.
He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so
she sold it to a farmer for $10.

The next day the paper read:

NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10 *

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back
the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild.

The next day the headlines read:

NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE *

The bishop was buried the next day.

NIZAR RIGHTFUL MB- HIGH COURT

FROM STAR:

KUALA LUMPUR (The Star Online): The High Court here ruled rule on Monday that Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin is the rightful Perak Mentri Besar, and not Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.

In his ruling, Justice Abdul Aziz Abd Rahim said that a mentri besar can only be dismissed by a vote of no confidence, and he upheld the Stephen Kalong Ningkan ruling.

He noted that the Perak State Legislative did not hold a vote of no confidence.

looks like najib already knew of the outcome..??????...that may explain the olive branch...

well...well.... catch 22.... now what ?

For once at least I know we have one upright Judge who upholds the law......cheers

TURNCOAT ROCKYBRU

WHEN YOU JUMP SHIP MAKE SURE YOU DONT LAND ON ONE THAT'S SINKING
YOUR GOOD FRIEND JUST GOT THE ROYAL FLUSH..........

Najib says no to Ahmad Talib in NSTP......and they are spinning it as miscommunication.

Najib’s media czar Datuk Johan Jaafar yesterday informed the senior management and several senior editors of the Umno-owned newspaper that Ahmad would not be appointed editorial adviser due to a misunderstanding.

He did not elaborate but said for now no outsiders would be parachuted into the NSTP.(from malaysianinsider)

LESSON ON PARTNERSHIP

If you are planning to go into partnership then you better read this.......cheers

(recycled from 2008 posting)

CORPORATE LESSON 1

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her
shower when the doorbell rings.
After a few seconds of arguing over which one should go and answer the doorbell, the wife gives up, quickly wraps herself up in a towel and runs downstairs.

When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbour.
Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you 800 dollars to drop that towel you have on."
After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob.
After a few seconds, Bob hands her 800 dollars and leaves.
Confused, but excited about her good fortune, the woman wraps back up in
the towel and goes back upstairs.

When she gets back to the bathroom, her husband asks from the shower, "Who was that?" "It was Bob the next door neighbour," she replies.
"Great," the husband says, "did he say anything about the 800 dollars he
owes me?"

Moral of the story:
If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk in time
with your stakeholders, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable
exposure.

CAN THEY AGREE FOR ONCE?

The Father say’s onething, the Son say’s another???

FATHERS SAY’S THUS:

(The Edge) PUTRAJAYA: Barisan Nasional (BN) acted too hastily in Perak and monarchs cannot remove elected heads of government.

On the eve of the continuance of Perak’s constitutional crisis, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said: "Under the Federal Constitution, as far as I know, very clearly states that the monarch cannot remove the prime minister.

Mahathir also refused to speculate on the legality of Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir’s appointment as menteri besar of Perak, saying that the matter now lies with the courts.

But the 83-year-old said that BN should have been more careful in the Perak takeover and that the coalition had acted "hastily".

THE SON SAY’S THUS?

(MALAYSIAN INSIDER) KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir tonight defended Barisan Nasional’s takeover of Perak, saying the party’s actions were legitimate.

“This is all technical, I think what Barisan Nasional has been doing is within the rights of the state party so I don’t there should be any problems. I hope they won’t make it into such a big issue by causing chaos and disturbing the peace in the state,” the International Trade and Industry deputy minister said.

I SAY THUS:

Democracy means that anyone can grow up to be a prime minister, and anyone who does’nt grow up can be a deputy minister……cheers

DPM Muhyiddin said Manoharan should not use his ISA detention as a reason to quit as Kota Alam Shah state assemblyman.....

He said Manoharan could still perform his duties despite being locked up under ISA........

Yea right! and I am a monkeys uncle!

POLICE AND THIEF

Photo from star-online:

Can you imagine this? Even the police are not safe in Johor.
As reported in the star-online:

Johor Baru south OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Yaakob was robbed at knife point, in his own home!!!!!!

Zainuddin later made a police report at Tampoi police station.
Even a top ranking officer can be robbed in his own home, what about we the layman? How safe
are we. Even my mum and dad were robbed at knife point 3 months back,in JB.
Whats become of Johor Baru? It used to be such a nice and safe place years back.
Almost every otherday, the newspapers in singapore too, flashes reports of singaporean
getting robbed in Johor baru.

This is really bad and if the "state gomen " does not take any action, Johor Baru will be a ghost town soon.........cheers

Judiciary Delivery System Has Improved, Says CJ

According to Bernama -- The judiciary now has shown an improvement in its delivery system particularly in clearing backlogged cases and file searching in courts

Chief Justice Tan Sri Zaki Tun Azmi said: "All these are positive signs and things have started changing.

It is really good that something is working in our country. Its what our PM ordered. Deliver as promised!

My grocery supplier also has the best delivery system in the whole universe. from the time i make my order,
he takes only 35mins to have it delivered to my doorstep. But i have one problem though.....
i requested for a chicken but he delivered a duck.....i called him to complain, but all he could say was
" alamak we delivered lah and on record time , whats your problem? "

.....i hope my supplier is not related to any high court judge in Perak......

KHIR TOYO

I have seen the icebergs of Iceland. i have swam with whales. i have experienced the eye of huricane helna in guam. i have even dived to depths of the ocean volcanoes. nothing moves me anymore. nothing shocks me anymore. i taught i have seen and heard it all !.... but i was wrong, boy was i wrong. i almost died of a heart attack after reading this from the malaysian insider.....

"EXTRACT FROM MI "

Dr Mohd Khir said in his opinion, 1 Malaysia meant the country belonged to all races and no one should be left out economically.

Dr Mohd Khir also urged the government to open more sub-sectors to non-Malays especially in local authorities and for more government jobs to be set aside for them.

He pointed out that the Indian community was especially in need of help.

“I realised this a bit too late, and only during my fifth year as mentri besar, because I was not told about how bad things were for them.”

He said he only knew something was seriously wrong when informed by the police that 40 per cent of crimes committed involved the Indian community.

He said he was shocked to learn that some estate workers earned between RM400 and RM500 a month only when he visited an estate in Kuala Selangor...........

CAN THE REAL KHIR TOYO PLEASE STAND UP!

CAN A LEOPARD CHANGE ITS SPOTS

I HOPE SO.......CHEERS

OUR GUARDIAN

ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?

WITNESS: No.

ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?

WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.

ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?

WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place.

EDUTAINMENT

A short story to exercise your mind:

An army officer got back home after a long time in the warzone.

One sunday morning he accompanied his wife to  church.

But during the long sermon he dozed off and had a dream.

In his dream, he was back at the warzone and dreamt that he was captured by

the enemy, and just as the executioner was rising his axe to chop of his head,

his wife hit his neck with a newspaper to wake him up. The shock was to great for

him and he died instantly on the spot.

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS STORY, IT CANNOT BE POSSIBLY TRUE...

TUN Dr. Mahathir-GRAND-OLD-MAN

What has he got, that the rest of us don't?

The grand old man of politics is up and running again. At his age 80++, thats something i really envy! Even at my age 50++, i find getting up in the morning and heading to work so difficult. How does he do it?

i have never met the Dr, but if given the opportunity i would surely like to sit dowm with him and learn his receipe for life.

I cannot say i don't like the man, as i have not met him. But respect for him I certainly have, not because of his personality, but because he is a good CEO. And putting malaysia on the world stage was his baby....that i respect.

The look east policy his brain child, has brought dividends and many more policies during his PMship, brought malaysia to where it is today.

The darkside to the man, many malaysians including me cannot stand him. So now that his choosen boy is the PM, what will be his share of the political cake ? Single handed he brought down Tun Badawi. Will Najib be willing to take the gamble to cross the old Lion? Will the electric train and the crooked causeway be back on the drawing board? Time will tell.

The tv1 live broadcast of Tun DR today, surely says something to us. UMNO has woken up, and are going all out to prove a point, in the 2 bukits and one batang. So don't write off this old man of politics yet, he still has the bite and like a hound he can sniff out blood and cuts in the the pakatan rakyat and expolit it like no other UMNO leader can.

so if you're betting on tomorrows outcome, better cover your bets, because the equation is not so straight forward this time. Tun DR M may be old but not out yet!...cheers

THE TEN COMANDMENTS -FROM PM NAJIB

Malaysia starts a new era with a new PM. Mr Najib took the wind out of the opposition in a suprise move by releasing 13 detainess from ISA and removing the two months ban of two publications.

It is goodnews for all those families who were fartherless all this while. My hope is that ISA will be completely erased from our Land!.

Below is the words spoken by our new PM, on his first day at work. His sort of mini agenda for his first 100 days in office. I am keeping my fingers crossed, and on the 101 day, i will come back and look at this agenda to see if it has been fulfilled!.....enjoy

THE TEN COMANDMENTS -FROM PM NAJIB

1) Be thankful to your past leaders

2) To serve with dedication and a deep sense of humility

3) To have a government based on performance and people friendly

4) To equip young talents with wings to fly and unlock their potential

5) To work tirelessly to serve all Malaysians

6) To conduct a "COMPREHENSIVE" review of the ISA

7) To enhance the confidence of Malaysians by maintaining peace, law and order

8) To unleash the full potential of Malaysia to lead us out of this economic crisis

9) To build a "ONE MALAYSIA"

10) To forget the past and join him to begin this great journey togeter.

MORE COMPUTER TIPS

DELETING FILES:

when you delete a file in windows xp, it puts it in the recycle bin. its a safeguard, built into the os, so that you can always restore the file if want it
back. files in the recycle bin do takeup space in your hardisk. so to erase a file "permanently" you will have to empty the recycle bin...sort of double
handling don't you think?.
if you are sure you do not need the file, you can bypass the recyle bin and delete the file "permanently". (especially files your wife/husband should not see) how?

1) click the file you want to delete

2) hold the shift key and hit delete

3) a window will pop to give you one chance to reconsider. hit yes , thats it you file is gone.

can you recover files erased this way. answer is yes and no......but thats for another time....

another tip before i log off:
if you are keen to see detailed info of you computer, to see if your vendor has given you all that he promised in his delivery order, just do the following:

1) click start

2) select run

3) type dxdiag and hit enter

out pops the devil himself. click the tabs to look through the whole system
and you can also test your speakers and other things.........enjoy

PROGRAMING FX9860-LEVELING

its nice to be back after such a long-long time. been busy with work, travelling and other things. one of my staff a land surveyor recently bought a casio fx9860 calculator and was at a lost to programing the new toy.

the manual that came with it was useless and no help. i had a look at it, took me about two hours to understand the menu systems and keys (the most difficult part). but once you understand this then programing this calculator is a breeze!(that is if you understand programing concepts).

well anyway if you are keen to learn how to program(i.e not just become a parrot and copy other people's program), i have listed below a small program for land surveyors who use the level machine to fly levels frequently, with explainations on the steps involved. hope its useful to you.

1. Once your calculator is turned on, enter the PRGM mode, using either the arrows on your keypad and press the blue EXE key, or simply press the button which corresponds to the letter B (log).

2. Most likely, the program list is empty. If there are programs present, just ignore them for the moment. To start a new program, press NEW (F3).

3. Enter in a name for your program. For starters, we’ll call our new program "LEVELING". To enter in the letters, use the buttons that correspond to the letters above the keys. Once the word "LEVELING" is written, press the blue EXE key to enter it. You will be moved then to the working area of the TEXT program. This is where the program writing begins.

4. Let’s enter in the text "-99 TO STOP".

5.Notice that the text is in inverted commas. This is intentional because when you enter text, which is to be displayed, you must encase it in inverted commas.
The " is found in the CHAR option (F6), located in the bottom right hand side of the screen. In this menu is the " option (F2).(if don't see CHAR, press the exit key until you see it)

ok this is the program code that we are going to type into the calculator.(leave out the number and brackets, i am using  it to explain the program by line numbers. ) e.g line 1 should be typed as "-99 TO STOP"in your calculator.( i.e. all the blue lines)

1) "-99 TO STOP"      (char(f6 key), sybl (f2 key) then select " and press exe key,  then - 99 shift-alpha, . (the fullstop creates a space ), to . stop , then f6 key select " exe and exe ,alpha key to release text mode.

2) Clrtext        (this is a command, not typed, to search for this command do the following. press shift then the vars key, you will see the menu at bottom of the screen has changed. press f6, then press f1 and f1 again , the clrtext should be on your screen. press exe key.

3) ClrList      (while still on the same menu press f3 key , you should see clrlist on your screen, then exe key. note it is important to press the exe key after every line

4) "TBM"? →A    (ok this you can do yourself.(hint press the exit key until you come to required menu. (see line 1 if you forgot how to go to the char menu).  the 3 new items here is the ?, →, A . to insert the  ? mark, use shift, vars, f4, to insert →, use the key on your calculator(found below the "tan" key. to insert the letter A, press the alpha key and press the key showing the letter A, shown in red (below the alpha key), then don't forget to  press the exe key.

5) "BS"? →B    (key in as shown abve)

6) Clrtext           (key in as shown abve)

7) A+B →C         (key in as shown abve)

8) 0 →K              (key in as shown abve, the 0 is zero not the letter "o")

9) Lbl 0              ( the " lbl 0 (zero not letter "o")"  is found at shift,vars,f3,f1, then use the keypad for zero, and press exe key.

10) Isz K           (under same menu, f4( for isz command), use keypad for letter k, dont forget to press alpha first to get the letter k, and press exe.

11) Clrtext         (key in as shown abve)

12) "FS"? →D    (key in as shown abve)

13) D= -99 => Goto 1     (key in as shown abve, the goto command found at shift, vars,f3,f2, use keypad for number 1)

14) C-D →E       (key in as shown abve)

15) "LEVEL=": E ◄    (key in as shown abve, the symbol at the end of E is a command ,found at shift,vars,f5. in this case the after this symbol the cusor automatically moves down on step, so the exe key is not used for this line.)

16) E →List 5[K]        ( the "list" command is found at optn,f1,f1, the brackets from key pad)

17) "BS"? →B              (remember to press exe after evry line!!!!!)

18) B= -99 => Goto 1

19) B+E →C

20) Goto 0       (0 is zero)

21) LBL 1

22) List 5 ◄     (exe key not necessary when using this symbol "◄")

ok now that you have typed in the commans, hopefully without any mistakes, you should test the program. go to menu (found in the keypad) , prgm, exe, look for leveling prog and exe it, if you are a surveyor you will know what values to input.  to exit just punch in -99 to exit the prog.

ok now lets lookunder the hood, to see how this engine runs.

line 1  instrusts the user to punch -99  to quit the prog. anything in between the quotaton marks are displayed. this is useful to give instructions to the user.

line 2 and line 3 are commands, to clear the screen

line 4,5  is requesting the user to input some value. Entering the ? symbol tells the calculator to pause while the user enters a number. The  A then tells the calculator to store the value in the memory A. This storing is essential to programs, so that we can recall this data to perform other tasks.

line 7, adds the values stored in a and b and stores it in memory c

line 9, is a command . "lbl 1" is a label. when the prog encounters a "goto" command, it will search for a lbl label to go to. e.g. when the prog comes to a goto 1 command, it will stop and jump to Lbl 1 and start execution from that line.

line 10, isz, is a command to increase the vaue of the memory k by 1 every time it comes to this line. this is like a counter. i use it to put all the results in the calculation to form a list at the end of the prog. its a bit difficult to understand, if you are not a programer, but i suggest you to google it to find out more.

the rest of the lines you should be able to figure out by yourself.

hope it helped someone out there....................... cheers
