Altantuyaa’s father shaariibuu was outraged at a press conference yesterday.

This is not an ordinary case.

“His daughter has been murdered and blown up to pieces. Malaysia should not be known to the world like this.

“Do you know these explosives used by the police officers from the military? It is not a simple knife. “You see what kind of dangerous people are working in your official level especially the police officers.” the Mongolian government will end their relationship with Malaysia, if Malaysia makes an unfair, irresponsible decision on this case.

Shaariibuu slammed his hand on the table, yelled “finish” and stormed off.

A brief recall of events:

Altantuyaa was born in 1978 .She was a part-time modeled, for a brief time and also started a tour business in Mongolia. She moved to Hong Kong in 2005, allegedly becoming a professional escort

It was around this time she met Abdul Razak Baginda, a defense analyst from the think tank Malaysian Strategic Research Centre, reportedly beginning a relationship.

Some sources allege that Altantuya came to Kuala Lumpur with a cousin in early October 2006 intending to confront her lover Abdul Razak Baginda. When she went missing on Oct 19, her cousin lodged a police report and sought help from the Mongolian embassy in Bangkok.

Police later found fragments of bone, later verified as hers, in forested land near the Subang Dam in Puncak Alam, Shah Alam. Police investigation of her remains revealed that she was shot twice before C-4 explosives were used on her remains.

Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 30 and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, 35, and abdul razak baginda were arrested for the the murder investigation. The two police officers belong to the Malaysian Police Special Action Force and were both assigned to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister .(extract from wikipedia)
