WAS JUSTICE DONE ?

(PIC FROM MALAYSIAN INSIDER)

A beggar walking down the road to the
market place, found a small purse.

opening it , he found it contained
100 pieces of gold coins.

looking around to see who has dropped it,
he heard a merchant shout " reward, reward!
a reward to the man who finds his lost purse!

the beggar went forward to the merchant
and said, here's your purse, may i have my
reward.

counting his gold coins greedily, the merchant scolded the
beggar , what reward?, you are a thief! my purse had
200 gold coins, and now only 100!

i am an honest man said the beggar , let us take this matter to the court.

the wise judge patiently listened to both sides of the story.

then the judge said:

i believe you both, " JUSTICE IS POSSIBLE"!

before the verdict , let me ask:

" was justice done" for the man pictured above?

Tun Salleh Abas, Tan Sri Azmi Kamaruddin and Dato George Seah. Tan Sri Wan Hamzah

Tan Sri Eusoffe Abdolcadeer and Tan Sri Wan Suleiman , were sacked in a kangaroo court.

the legacy of 1988 haunts us, for the past nineteen years, the judicial system in our

country has been rocketed with corruption, hypocrisy, poor judgments and mortgaged to

lingamism.

although it is very difficult to prove any of these allegations, but public perception is there.

our Pm found it very difficult to say sorry, to these pillars of our courts.

the basic thing to do in any wrong doing is to say "SORRY", THESE ONE WORD HEALS,

and although it does not right the wrong, but it brings out the sincerity, credibility and accountability in a person.

I GUESS OUR GOVERNMENT HAS NOT COME TO THAT JUNCTION YET.

anyway to say the least, a half step is better than none. and i believe our ex-judges are men of
honor and they will " forgive". and as the saying goes " justice will be done"!!

coming back to 100 coins story.

then the judge said:

i believe you both, " JUSTICE IS POSSIBLE"!

merchant you stated that the purse you lost had 200 gold coins.
the purse that this beggar found had only 100 gold coins.
therefore it could not be the one you lost.

the judge gave the purse of 100 gold coins to the beggar.

" WAS JUSTICE DONE " ????
