THE POLICE ,SODOMY AND THE BOY NAMED SUE

I am old fan of Johnny Cash. I wander how many of my readers know this singer.

And what has our Malaysian police and sodomy and the boy named Sue got to do with anything.

First let me say “The Boy Named SUE” is one of my favorite song sang by Johnny Cash.

What has sodomy got to with this song?. Well nothing really, but let me tell you the story about this song anyway.

But before I go into the story of the song, let me define, what I am getting at. With the new twist of the sodomy case due to the leaked medical report, I was wondering how the clowns at home ministry and PDRM were going to twist this change of events. They were literally caught with their pants down and not only that, there is some hard evidence of some hanky panky, thanks to RPK revelations. So how are the clowns going to spin these story.

I was cracking my head and thinking really hard on how I, (if I am in their shoes) would spin this turn of events to my favor and come out with my flags flying high! Then this particular song hit my brains.

Ok if it was me in this shit hole, this is what I would do to spin the story. Ok readers if you are still reading and not bored yet, thanks, please continue to read. Let me explain the song first and then I will use that concept to spin this sodomy case to my advantage.

This song tells a story of a young boy growing up without a father. When he was born, his father left the family, but before he left he named the new born boy “SUE”. Yes can you imagine a boy with a girls name.

The boy grew up, but growing up was not easy. Because where ever he went, everybody made fun of him, because of his girl’s name. And everyday the boy will get into a fight. Who ever disturbs him will get a fist to his face. Yes he grew up fighting in the streets and in the bars.

And while he grew into a man, he made a promise to himself. He promised himself that one day he his going to hunt his father down and shot him through his head for giving him that name.

So he went hunting for his father with a worn out picture of his dad that he took from his mum. Sure enough in a bar in a far out town he saw the dirty old man who he recognized as his father from the worn out picture that he carried with him.

He approached this father and shouted out to him. “how do you do” my name is sue!

I am going to kill you.

The old man turned around and knew that it was his son and he said:

Son I know you are angry and want to kill me, but before you do , let me tell you why I named you “SUE”.

He said son, I knew I will not be there to support you and help you when you grow up. I gave you that name, so that you will grow up strong, because I knew with that name you will have to fight to live and be strong or be a sissy and weak and die! Look at you now. It is because of that name , you became strong, it made you into a man.

So what can the son do! So in a classic ending , he called him a pa and he called him a son and they hugged and kissed and become father and son.

That is the story of this song.

Now how is this going to help me to spin the sodomy case. Using the same concept this is how I will go about it. (I hope the botak from johor and the PDRM are also reading this, as it can give them some ideas.)

I will call a press conference and tell the press the following:

We the police, knew from the very beginning anwar was innocent. Because we already had the doctors report . We immediately knew that this was a political frame up.

So we formed a special squad to investigated this matter to catch all those involved in this frame up. Since this involves some very big fish, we had to be very careful so that we can investigate and dig deep into this political conspiracy.

So in order to throw the culprits of the track, we used anwar as a scapegoat as a cover to investigate this case. We maintained that we were investigating anwar for sodomy, but in fact what we were actually doing was to closely investigate the conspiracy.

We are speaking the truth. To prove our point, did you not see, until today we have not charged anwar with anything? We have not given him the police report because, the report is about something else and we cannot make it public, due the very reason we are investigating big fish. It it taking time, due to the nature of people involved. That’s is the reason it is taking us this long.

But unfortunately some idiot went and leaked the medical report, and our case is wide open and the public thinks we are damaged goods. All our hard work to nail the culprits has gone down the drain. So how can we catch the conspirators now?. So thanks to RPK we have nothing now and nobody will ever know who was involved. So we hope in future , the public will trust us to do our JOB and not to interfere with our on going investigation. Thank you.

How about this spin guys? Will you buy it?. I will. Sleep on it, and you can use this method to almost spin anything in you life, and come out tops.. good luck…cheers.

HANDPHONE AND CANCER RISK

Report from Time.com

(PITTSBURGH) — The head of a prominent cancer research institute issued an unprecedented warning to his faculty and staff Wednesday: Limit cell phone use because of the possible risk of cancer.

The warning from Dr. Ronald B. Herberman, director of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, is contrary to numerous studies that don't find a link between cancer and cell phone use, and a public lack of worry by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Herberman is basing his alarm on early unpublished data. He says it takes too long to get answers from science and he believes people should take action now — especially when it comes to children.

"Really at the heart of my concern is that we shouldn't wait for a definitive study to come out, but err on the side of being safe rather than sorry later," Herberman said.

PLAY IT SAFE:

Since the handphone went from luxury to necessary, much debate has been going on about this topic. Does the electromagnetic radiation from the handset cause cancer. To be sure, nobody really knows. It just like coffee. Some say its good ,while some say its bad.

We as layman sometimes are at a lost who to believe.

My advice is moderation , yes everything done in moderation may be the answer.

Just like what the doctor says: being safe rather than sorry later is the best bet.

I for one, always use my speaker phone rather then put the phone to my ear. Or if you have a wireless thingy, that will also be good. Why stir the unknown. And if you have very young children try not to allow them to use the phone too often, as their brains are still developing and the radiation from the handphone may actually harm them…CHEERS

UPDATE 9 ANWAR SODOMY

Remember in my previous article, I mentioned a doctor who examined saiful has said that saiful was not sodomised. And he was allegedly detained by the police for 3 days to make him to change the report.

Well now according to RPK Malaysia today, the doctor has disappeared with his family. The brave doctors name is DR Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid from the Hospital Pusrawi.

And RPK has even published the medical report (see below). All though the hand writing of the doctor is difficult to read but what the report says is there is no evidence of sodomy. Diagnosis: TRO anus means “To Rule Out “ sodomy.

Can you imagine, with this out, why are the police still wanting to arrest Anwar? Until today they have not given him the police report and strangely they have not even charged him for anything. Why are all these clowns chasing their tails when there is no case?. It is a mystery. Can you imagine the manpower and resources they wasted on this case. Its all tax payers money down the drain.

On another note, Anwar may be standing in the kulim-bandar seat parliamentary by elections soon. This very much depends on the court case brought on by UMNO candidate Abdul Aziz. The leaders in DAP and Pas has given anwar the green light and have pledge to support him 100% . this is good news, as this will be anwars ladder to finally return to parliament and then to form the new government on Sep 16. Hopefully no more new scandals erupt to derail his efforts again.

But this bolehland, anything is possible, so l am keeping my fingers and toes crossed…cheers.

I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!

And guess who is the ultimate scapegoat? Yes they are blaming this on Malaysia. Why? Read on my friend…..cheers

Qantas passengers flying to Melbourne from London, had a terrifying ordeal, while flying over the South China Sea.

While in mid air a 3 meter hole rupture in the belly of their Boeing 747, sent the plane on a nose dive 6,000 meters, before the pilot managed to stabilise the plane.

Passenger Steve Winchester said he thought he was going to die.

"Everyone was just thinking to themselves 'oh I think this is it'," he told reporters. "I heard someone scream. People were just looking at each other in sheer terror."

Winchester said the fuselage breach caused a hole to open up in the cabin floor and sent debris flying through the plane's interior.

"It was everywhere, it was just like it was snowing in the cabin," he said.

Melbourne man David Saunders said he hugged his girlfriend and put his passport in his pocket so his body could be more easily identified as the plane dived towards the sea.

"I heard an enormous explosion, things went quiet, the cabin instantly lost pressure and the plane just started to dive. I thought we were going down into the sea," he said.

The plane managed to make an emergency landing in manila.

Malaysia takes the rep!

Meanwhile, investigators in Manila, including four officers from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, were poring over the stricken aircraft to try to find the cause of the problem.

Sydney's Daily Telegraph reported that engineers discovered a large amount of corrosion in the jumbo during a major refurbishment earlier this year.

A senior Qantas pilot told the Telegraph that Friday's drama may be related to the airline's decision to outsource aircraft maintenance to Malaysia.

"This could well be the direct result of Qantas having stand-in engineers, or from outsourcing maintenance to Malaysia," the unnamed pilot told the newspaper.

"It has been talked about a lot here and we have been told to be extra vigilant when you walk around the aircraft.

"With Qantas outsourcing maintenance to Malaysia, (it) is certainly worrying a lot of us pilots.”

PAS SAYS INUL MORE POTENT THEN VIAGRA

This was a memo that was handed to the mayor’s office by some Pas youth members.

They hope to stop the concert of Inul Daratista . I am not much a fan of Indonesian music but just out of curiosity I had a peep into the youtube (also attached here) to see whats all that fuss about. But read what the memo said first and then watch the video and see if it works for you. Because mine would not even move an inch.

The memo (extract):

Have you seen her in action? Just go to youtube and you will see that her shows are quite obscene. Even I (pas youth) can’t bear watching her. They said her concerts were known to make crowd go wild sexually and that could lead to social problems.

Once they go wild, some will resort to sex by the roadside. So its best that the concert does not go on.

They added that city hall must stop her concert as it did not adhere to rulings by the department of Islamic development Malaysia (jakim).

UPDATE 8 ANWAR SODOMY

Ok this was what I was able to pickup on this case:

1) the police having been battered left and right about the way the handle the arrest on anwar, now wants to release the cctv footage of the treatment of anwar during the detention. What’s the intention in doing this?. Well for one, they may have an edit version showing how anwar was offered tea and cookies and treated with much respect during the investigation. But these clowns fail to get the message do they. We are not interested in that. We want to know why 20 police officers in ski mask fully armed to the teeth was needed to arrest a 60 year old man. Simple as that. Why?

2) then yesterday the botak from Johor had 96 foreign diplomats rushed to a Home Ministry briefing on a two-hour notice?. Even in a nuclear crisis, I doubt you can get such a number to attend. But for sodomy case?, my my what is our country coming too? Can you imagine, all this vvip from so many important countries gathered to listen to a case of somebody screwing somebody’s backside!!!!!. I fell of my chair laughing at this incident. Even the UN could not have done better. My friends we have 192 UN member states upto now. That means almost ½ the world members were briefed on a backside screwing case!! The UN was sodomised if you asked me. Anyway that’s Malaysia for you, where so many other more important and relevant issues could have been solved, but our government wishes to wash they dirty laundry instead. We will be the laughing stock of the world. We might as well change the name of our country to “BACKSIDE”!

3) most interesting of course was the revelation by RPK in his Malaysia today site, of the video recording of the friend of the sodomite. RPK works in a mysterious way. My only worry is this brave whistle blower will not Houdini himself like our PI friend. It takes guts of iron balls to do this. Anyway I managed to read the comments column and found this interesting facts which got me thinking. I will share with the following interesting comments.

a) it was reported that saiful and his video friend went to c4’s house on the 24 of june.

b) Then on the 28 june saiful reports to police that he was sodomised by anwar on the 26 june. Interesting isn’t it. Meeting c4 on 24june and sodomised on 26june, why days two later? And the police report also two days later. It makes me think how stupid these guys must be to want to frame somebody like this. It takes brains to plan a perfect murder , and not many can get away with it. With the idiots we have in umno, police and other government agency, I am not surprised at this revelation.

c) The next revelation maybe a fact or a rumor as I cannot confirm it but I will put it down anyway. It is alleged that saiful is close to his “emak angkat” and her name was given as Mumtaz. And guess what, this Mumtaz is alleged to be a personal assistant to rosmah. How about that. It’s a rumor so use it with a pinch of salt.

d) Next, this is even more interesting rumor! Apparently a mole in Bukit Aman (a police officer or some else), informed anwar on 21june that police are working on a sodomy case involving him. Now if this is rumor is to believed, I would say why would anwar want to screw saiful’s backside on the 26june?. So the conspiracy theory is indeed breaking new grounds, if all this can be proved, or if some hard evidence can be found. So lets wait and see what else will break out in the next couple of days…..stay tuned for update 9…..cheers

ARE WE BEING SCREWED BY PAS?

Some people never learn. In times of trouble, we humans always try to get out of it and internally we will promise ourselves never to get into the same kind of problems ever again. But from my experience, time heals our hurts and we tend to forget. And before you can say craker-jack, we are in the same shit hole as before. Why you ask?

In real life when our situation changes, and as we see ourselves in a much stronger position, we grow greedy and complacent. We have these false sense of security and strength , our mind gets clouded, greed overtakes our judgment and boom we are hijacked and back to zero. Yes greed and the tidak pa (tidakpathy syndrome) attitude can be the greatest motivator.

So Pas is courting its old lover again. In 1974 they married UMNO, had a great honeymoon, and with all things after the honeymoon was over, UMNO could’nt careless about its old wife went looking for fresh virgins and Pas was just another trophy to be displayed in the shelf. So the old wife got jealous and went in for a divorce in 1978. Umno just like a buaya darat, was more then happy to oblige as many a virgins were out there waiting in line to become sleeping partners with them. So after being screwed and used, Pas left with their tails in between their legs.

So what happen that the made the old love to rekindle again? Or is it the younger breed in Pas who pushing this agenda? Why are this young politicians who are still wet behind their ears courting the devil? Are they trying to destroy the enemy by befriending them? Or is the case, where its better the devil you know than the angel you don’t?

What ever the case, don’t we who supported Pas during this election, feel cheated. We worked so hard to weaken the BN. Even though we were unsure of the Pas Ideology we supported them hundred percent. We worked hand in hand to destroy the devil. Is these the thanks we get for our support? Right now I feel like kicking my own ass.

The thing is, dialog is good. But it should be kept open. They should have informed the rakyat what its all about, and not play james bond with these cloak and dagger meetings. Why keep it a secrete. If you have nothing to hide, explain to us. You go behind our backs, hold secrete meetings. And see what happened, UMNO ****ed you again. They kissed and told. You see UMNO went public , why? You dumb ass Pas, you still don’t get it. Simple, they sow seeds of deception. You see what they have done. With these clandistain meeting out in the open, UMNO has managed to shake the foundations of the Pakatan Rakyat.

I hope those idiots who are pushing these agenda, will stop and think again. And please listen to your spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, to end the dialogue, as it would split the party and cause suspicion among allies in the Pakatan Rakyat.

Remember the fate of MCA, MIC, GERAKAN and if still insist in following their foodsteps, then come next elections be prepared to wear their shoes…..cheers

PROSTATE CANCER WONDER PILL

REPORT FROM MAIL ONLINE:

British researchers have made a dramatic breakthrough against a lethal form of prostate cancer.

Trials of a new pill have shown that it can shrink tumors in up to 80 per cent of cases, and end the need for damaging chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Experts hailed the advance as potentially the biggest in the field of prostate cancer for decades, capable of saving many thousands of lives.

Scientists believe the technique could also be effective on other tumors, such as breast and bowel cancers.

The drug, abiraterone, was discovered by researchers at the Royal Marsden Hospital in South-West London.

Their leader, Dr Johann de Bono, said patients there had been able to control the disease with just four pills a day and very few side-effects. Its side-effects can include loss of libido, breathlessness, fatigue, fluid retention and weight gain. Some men may be left impotent, but the effects are far less than with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

There are two types, aggressive and non-aggressive, which are often called 'tiger' and 'pussycat'. Men with pussycat cancer can often lead a healthy life, but the tiger variety - a third of cases - is usually fatal within 18 months.

Abiraterone is now being used in a 1,200-patient international study, including at ten sites across the UK. If it is licensed as expected in 2011, it will have to await approval by the rationing watchdog NICE before it is made freely available.

UPDATE 7 ANWAR SODOMY

Malaysia today and a few blogs report an interesting article yesterday.

(please understand, that these are only rumors and I have yet to see any hard evidence)

1) the chemistry department appointed to analysis the semen sample on the anwar’s sodomy case has been successfully completed. The only problem was they allegedly used the 1998 dna profile of anwar to fabricate the evidence. And those idiots taught they had an air tight case, and it was alleged that some $25,000 dropped from the sky because of this break through and everybody at the lab had a jolly good time partying with the winfall.

After partying and celebrating then some wise joker suddenly pulled a bombshell. He was asking if this evidence was edited by any independent expert from the outside, will it hold up?.

The answer is of cause no. because technology is such that, they can carbon date anything these days and pin point the date of any sample to within +/- 2 years. So everybody was worried, not because they got the wrong sample and the wrong date but, how to return the $25,000 they spent partying. Yes that’s a big headache for them.

Never to be outdone, they came up with plan B. get fresh dna from anwar and the headache will be gone and they need not pass the hat around to collect back the $25,000. so who is going to bell the cat?. Easy. Get the father in law, the son in law, the botak from johor, the son of the DR, the father and uncle of the sodomised guy to shout in the MSM, for anwar to give fresh sample. But the cat refused to be belled, and guess what they are back to square one.

Sometimes as a layman, I am also puzzled by this crazy calls for fresh samples?

DNA does not perish, be it taken today or 100 years ago. It remains the same, the only difference between today’s sample and the one taken 100 years ago will be the age factor of the dna. This in anwar’s case will a plus factor for him.

Another question that’s bugging me non stop is, why the father of the sodomised guy can see the police report, but the accused upto today has yet to see it? Why , why? Is it because the doctor who examined saiful concluded that sodomy never took place?

In RPK no holds barred report yesterday, rpk said the doctor was intimidated by police for three days trying to get the doctor to change the report. But he refused. If this is true, then my hats off to the doctor. Malaysia still has some hope and a few honest people around.

I was scanning the MSM today, but yet to see any reports about these yet. Can all these events be true?. Make up your own mind, you get no help from me…cheers

TODAY IN MALAYSIA

JULY 21 2008 MONDAY 2000HRS

Sodomy affair:

1: Saiful’s family now getting involved in the sodomy case?

Have the unseen hands stoop so low as to get them involved?

This is the question that will be in the minds of everybody now.

I am a father, so if I am in their shoes, I might do the same thing.

But the question is why now, and not very early when news broke out.

It puzzles me to some extend, but I maybe wrong. And why talk of DNA only? And not the other circumstances? Questions and more questions. So which came first the chicken or the egg? If know the answer please share

Altantuya Shariibuu murder trial

2: Karpal singh is on the war path again! Yes he has filed a notice in the high court seeking to clarify the famous SD’s of private investigator P Balasubramaniam.

He has pulled a little known clause to us layman, the section 425 CPC.

What that means is "any court may at any stage of any inquiry, trial or other proceedings, summon any person as a witness or recall and re-examine any person already examined if his evidence appears to be essential.

That means he is seeking to call to stand the following VVIPs:

Najib, DSP Musa Safri and lawyer Dhiren Rene Norendra.

Wow, I hope the lion of jelutong is not going to do another Houdini, just like our famous PI .

Update on Anwar:

3: After giving his much needed statement to the ACA this morning on the IGP and the AG, anwar gave the thumbs up, when questioned by reporters about the lawsuit the IGP filed against anwar for defamation, today in the high court. The IGP , to be fair did give anwar a deadline to retract his allegations and to pay a large amount of $RM. But if your thinking and my thinking runs in sycn, then I would say, shaft it and bring it on. To court we go and I will wash your dirty linen in the public for all to see. Every dog has his day and the day of reckoning is at hand. Wait, wait , wait a minute, the last I heard the courts are full till 2015. I hope I will still be kicking to see the daylight of this case. And to make matters more interesting, listen to what the AG says:

Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail is said to be considering a similar suit.

Hmmm, seems to be considering? Why the hesitation?. You have the BN machinery behind you, don’t worry, AG! Bring it to court. Anwar is 60 now, by the time these case sees any light, he will be to old to remember anything. Go for it……

The ACA has this to say about this case, and I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed hoping that it be true:

ACA deputy director-general Datuk Abu Kassim Mohamed said the agency is investigating Anwar's complaints against the IGP and A-G without referring to the A-G's Chambers.

SINGAPORE USED AS A PUNCHING BAG

I read this interesting article in asiaone online paper. The article talks about why Singapore’s success is seen as a threat to western ideology and why its always the scapegoat when the so called liberal thinking NGO’s take a swipe at this tiny red pimple that refuses to bust. I only extracted a small potion of the article, but if want to read the complete article go to asiaone online news…cheers

In an article published last week in The Guardian, one of Britain's most influential dailies, Singapore was yet again disparaged as a modern, but authoritarian state. Writer John Kampfner - a distinguished local columnist and the author was merely using the Republic as part of a broader attack on the policies of the British government. His contention was that ordinary Singaporeans allegedly gave up their personal freedoms in return for prosperity.

But Mr Kampfner's article is part of an emerging pattern: Reports from a variety of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and international media sources periodically portray Singapore as a wealthy yet less than attractive state.

What accounts for this outpouring of venom about a country which, when all is said and done, remains just a tiny speck on the world map? The answer is rather simple. Singapore is merely a convenient scapegoat for a deeper crisis of confidence which now grips the West.

To a large extent, success is Singapore's biggest problem. It is hardly the only Asian country to undergo a remarkable economic and political transformation. But it is the only Asian nation whose academics and politicians are completely plugged into the current Western intellectual circuit. So, Singapore's international visibility far outstrips the country's actual size.

Western criticism of Singapore usually falls into two categories. One school of thought argues that the Republic still has plenty of problems: look behind the glitzy facade and you'd find many warts.

Another school of thought accepts that Singapore is successful, but claims that its example is irrelevant: It is just a small, beautifully-decorated fish bowl which cannot be replicated in a big ocean.

But both critical trends converge on one point: Singapore is a laboratory experiment which should have failed but which, for some apparently devious reason, has instead succeeded.

Western policymakers are growing desperate over increasing evidence that, far from being unique, Singapore-like development theories are actually working in an increasing number of states.

Yet Singaporeans can also derive satisfaction from the current climate. First, they are the subject of international curiosity because theirs is a system which works.

And they are being scrutinised precisely because people suspect that the Singapore model does have wider applications.

So, this is one instance when criticism may be the sincerest mode of flattery. Regardless of how much it stings.

THE FORGOTTEN ISSUES

Dear readers:

The last two weeks in Malaysia has been a roller coaster ride for everyone. Whether it was pre planned or just a coincidence is beyond us. But the crux of the matter is, these events has completely pulled the wool over our eyes on the real issues that we the rakyat are wanting to change.

The mainstream media and almost all internet media were side tracked by the weeks events to highlight issues which are to me like a storm in a tea cup. Sex, lies, murders are the issues that finds headlines today.

But readers please do not be sidetracked and please keep the following issues in your mind and heart so that we know exactly what changes that is needed in our beloved country. There maybe more, please feel free to add to the list in the comment.

THE FORGOTTEN ISSUES:

1: the recession and depression that will be hitting us very soon….. be prepared and cut unnecessary spending and save for the bad days a head.

2: the inflation and fuel hike

3: the urban poverty….. your RM 3,000 salary gets you nowhere these days!

4: systematic spread of racist propaganda….. teach your loved ones everyone are equal in the eyes of GOD

5: the failing standards in our universities and schools

6: the invisible siphoning and rape of our country’s wealth

8: corrupt politicians and half past six ministers who run our country

9: the police and judiciary that has lost credibility

10: a prime minister who is seen as a lame duck

These are just the more important issues in my opinion , but its not complete. But if somehow if we can lobby as one rakyat to put pressure on the ruling elite to make changes, then I believe our country can truly be ASIA’S NUMBER ONE…cheers

UPDATE 6 ANWAR AND SODOMY CASE

KUALA LUMPUR - A LAWYER says Malaysia's opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has provided an alibi to the police to prove he did not sodomise a male aide.

Counsel Sivarasa Rasiah also says Anwar will not give a DNA sample for fear it could be manipulated to frame him.

Police arrested Mr Anwar on Wednesday and interrogated him for many hours about the sodomy allegations made by a young male aide. He was released Thursday on bail, but remains a suspect in the case.

Mr Sivarasa told a Friday news conference that Mr Anwar gave the police 'full details' of his alibi, but that he drew the line at giving a DNA swab.

Mr Sivarasa says DNA evidence was fabricated against Mr Anwar when he was accused of sodomy 10 years ago, and he does not trust the police not to do it again. -- AP

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED IN 1998 CASE…..EXTRACT FOR RPK

In 1998-1999 trials, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim experienced the phenomenon of fabrication of DNA evidence. We had SAC Rodwan illegally removing DNA samples from forensic custody. In cross-examination of the prosecution’s witnesses it was exposed that DNA taken from blood samples was planted on the infamous mattress. When confronted with this fact the prosecution amended its charge and persuaded the judge, Augustine Paul, to expunge the entire DNA evidence from the record, preventing Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s lawyers from responding.

The persons who were implicated in the fabrication of evidence during Dato Seri Anwar’s 1998-1999 trials, namely Gani Patail, Musa Hassan, and Rodwan are the same players who are involved in the current case. Today they are in much more powerful positions within the law enforcement apparatus.

Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim has even more reason to believe of the probability that DNA evidence will be fabricated once again. This is reasonable because the complainant remains in police custody since 28 June 2008 and the police are also in possession of Anwar Ibrahim’s DNA from the earlier case.

if you want to know more about DNA and how it is used to solve crime, pls read my post "what is DNA fingerprint....cheers

WHAT IS DNA FINGERPRINT?

With so much talk of DNA, blowing in our bolehland, I was wondering whether most us (layman) know what exactly it is, or only a vague idea. Here I did some googling and came up with some explanation. Please read it if it is of interest to you (10 mins read)…..cheers.

What exactly is a DNA fingerprint? Well, it certainly isn't an inky impression of a DNA strand. Compared to unimaginably small DNA, a fingerprint is HUGE. So what is it that we're looking at, and how is one of these fingerprints made?

DNA. It's what makes you unique. It's the stuff that tells each and every one of your body's 10 trillion cells what it's supposed to be and what it's supposed to do. And although your DNA is different from that of every other person in the world -- unless you have an identical twin -- it's the same in every cell that makes up your body.

That DNA is unique from person to person but the same from cell to cell in one person can be a handy thing, especially when it comes to DNA fingerprinting. DNA fingerprints can be used for anything from determining a biological mother or father to identifying the suspect of a crime.

The best way to understand how DNA is used to solve a crime, is to play detective. So if your game, lets start.

The crime:

On the evening of November 1, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Raja Lolipo entered his bedroom, walked over to his desk, and sat down at his computer. While reaching for the computer's switch he noticed, out of the corner of his eye, that one of the items on a typically well-organized shelf was out of place.

Raja Lolipo shot across the room for a closer examination. Sure enough, the object in question had indeed been disturbed.

The object had been sealed in an air-tight package. The package was now ripped open. The object was still inside, but it was no longer in its original condition. In Raja Lolipo 's eyes, it was now worthless.

Raja Lolipo pulled out what had been his most-valued possession -- his holographic lollipop. The confectionery treat was now a sticky mess. Someone had obviously indulged him- or herself in its sugary molecules. The lollipop's holographic image had been licked away.

The suspects:

The prime suspects in this case are Raja Lolipo 's seven sisters: Candy, Cookie, Sugar, Lolly, Honey, Brandee, and Carmela. Each one of these sisters is a notorious candy lover and is easily capable of committing this crime of confection.

The suspects have been detained. The saliva of the seven suspects are taken for a DNA sampling.

What we as the investigating detective need to do:

Fortunately for this case, a lollipop cannot be licked without leaving behind a bit of saliva.

Your task, as the investigator is to a appoint a Lab who is capable to finger print DNA, to create a DNA fingerprint from the saliva left on the lollipop. You must then use the fingerprint to single out the culprit of this crime.

Steps required to get the photo graphic image of the DNA.

1: the DNA samples from the suspects are first combined with an restriction enzyme agent.

2: then a special tray with electrodes is then taken and “agarose” gel is poured into the tray.

3: then the mixture in step 1 is poured into the special tray and the electrodes are activated for electrophoresis to begin.

4: after a certain amount time has lapsed, a special nylon membrane is placed on the mixture in the special tray.

5: another mixture called “probes” is added to the nylon membrane. I believe this agent stains the DNA seeping out of the special nylon membrane.

6: the next step is to place an X-ray film on the top of the nylon membrane.

7: the final step is to develop the X-ray film with the aid of a developer instrument. The DNA image is exposed on this film, and there you go, you have the images of the DNA strand on the X-ray film….just like you bone X-rays.

Now to catch the culprit:

Once all the seven suspects DNA has been photographed (x-ray image), the its just the simple task to compare the DNA on the lollipop to the DNA of the seven suspects.

Below I have the images of the DNA, see if you match and discover the culprit.

my bet is "Honey" was the culprit, what was you expert opinion?....cheers

WISE SAYINGS FROM HOME MINISTER?

Asked if it was not suspicious that Mohd Saiful had gone to complain to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak before lodging a police report, Syed Hamid said in Malaysia, "a minister's house is open to the public"……dato I have a pain in an unspeakable hole, any chance I can meet you , do discuss possible follow up action?

On the roadblocks, Syed Hamid claimed he had no knowledge of it and that he himself had been caught in the traffic jams….. howcome dato? The last I heard you are still the home minister. If you had no knowledge, who the **** is running you ministry?. If the head is not knowing what the hand is doing, then what are we paying you for?...buta gaji?

He said he was not personally informed by police of the operation to arrest Anwar, adding that the public should understand that it was a police operation.

"The police do not have to consult or seek permission on what needs to be done as they are empowered by law. I expect them to act within the law."……yes yes and I am a monkeys uncle!.. A 10 year old could have done better to answer this question. And can you imagine, they hang petty thieves and appoint numbskulls to public office!

Stay tuned, more great words from our esteemed home minister to come…..cheers

AUSTRALIAN TV JOURNALIST ARRESTED IN SINGAPORE

Report from CNA:

SINGAPORE: A television reporter for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) has been arrested in Singapore and is expected to face drug charges on Friday, his employer said.

A court official in Singapore told AFP the court hearing was under way but she could not yet confirm whether charges had been formally laid.

"If convicted, Lloyd faces imprisonment of between five and 20 years in jail and between five and 15 strokes of the cane," the ABC report said.

A statement from counter-narcotics officers in Singapore said investigation showed a 41-year-old Australian to be the "supplier" to a Singaporean drug abuser arrested on Wednesday.

It said the ABC has not been told the full details of the case, but the organisation is in close contact with consular officials and is also taking steps to ensure Lloyd is given appropriate legal representation.

THIS IS FROM YOU TUBE:

UPDATE 5 ANWAR ARREST

FROM MALAYSIAN INSIDER:

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 - Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who was arrested this afternoon, has called on his supporters to remain calm and not to react to any provocation, which could lead to a state of Emergency being declared.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali who read out a statement at a press conference at the party's headquarters here this afternoon said Anwar's message was conveyed through his lawyers Sankara Nair and R. Sivarasa.

He said that he had received phone calls from PKR division leaders and party members who wanted serious actions to be taken.

However when asked whether the party would resort to street demonstrations, Syed Husin said it would only be decided when it was deemed appropriate.

"We will not be provoked," he added.

PKR secretary-general Datuk Sallehuddin Hashim said there had been no directive from the party leaders to organise such demonstrations.

An unsigned SMS alert has been making the rounds calling for people to gather at a candle light vigil in front of the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters at Jalan Hang Tuah at 8.30pm tonight.

HOME MINISTER HAS A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO!

WHAT WILL BE HIS EXCUSE THIS TIME?

LAST MONDAY HE SAID I AM SORRY,

I HAD ONE SMS SAYING THERE IS GOING TO BE A BIG PROTEST.

SO WHAT HAPPEN TODAY?

ANOTHER SMS SAYING ANWAR RUNNING TO TURKEY?

THE MALAYSIAN POLICE HAS PUT A BLACK MARK IN OUR DEMOCRACY!

THE WORLD IS LAUGHING AT US? I WONDER WHERE OUR LEADERS ARE GOING TO THEIR FACE WHEN MEETING OTHER WORLD LEADERS?. OR IS THEIR SKIN TO THICK?

WHY THE SLEDGEHAMMER APPROACH?

What's the excuse for stopping him at a junction near his home in Segambut, bundling him into an unmarked vehicle by balaclava-clad men and then speeding off to the KL police headquarters.

The arrest came an hour before Anwar was scheduled to show up at the police station to be interviewed by officers investigating a sodomy allegation against him.

The manner in which Anwar was arrested today shows that some lessons of 1998 have not been learnt. Only tough days ahead for the Abdullah administration and Malaysia.

If there was any hope that our political culture has progressed since the national shame that was 1998, they were clearly dashed today. And if there was any belief that those in power have understood the message of 8 March, that too was dashed today.

It's no wonder that the credibility of the government is at an all-time low. "No fuel hike until August" became a whopping 40% increase a day later. Yesterday, Federal CID director chief Datuk Mohd Bakri Zinin had just said, "We do not arrest anyone just because there is a report lodged against him or her." Today, an hour before the 2pm deadline, it was clearly a different story. It's also disturbing to note that Anwar's lawyer Sankara Nair claims to have spoken to the investigation officer DSP Jude Pereira minutes before the arrest. "We replied that we will be there at 2pm sharp," he said.

Clearly this is another attempt to create an atmosphere of instability in the country. After Monday's traffic jam debacle in which the entire Klang Valley was held hostage by roadblocks ordered by the Home Ministry, this is a very disturbing trend. The political game has taken precedent over the interests of the people and the nation at large.

UPDATE 4 ANWAR ARREST

FROM BERNAMA:

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is now at the Kuala Lumpur Contingent Police Headquarters (IPKKL) where he is believed to be giving a statement concerning investigation into the alleged sodomy involving him.

A Bernama journalist who was at the IPKKL saw Anwar arriving in a four-wheel-drive vehicle at 1.10pm escorted by 20 police cars.

The PKR advisor had earlier been given up to 2pm today to appear at the IPKKL to give a statement on the case or face arrest.

On Tuesday, Anwar failed to appear at the IPKKL although it was said that he had agreed to do so to give a statement on the allegation that he had committed sodomy against his former aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.

Earlier this morning, the PKR advisor was at the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) Headquarters in Putrajaya to give a statement concerning his report against Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail.

PKR president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, when met by reporters at the IPKKL, said Anwar was arrested by police near their home in Segambut while returning home after giving a statement to the ACA in Putrajaya.

She said she was attending the Dewan Rakyat sitting when she received a call from her husband on the detention, and subsequently rushed to the IPKKL.

"Datuk Seri Anwar managed to call me while he was being taken to the IPKKL in a car," she said.

Anwar's lawyer, Sankara Nair was also seen at the IPKKL and entering the building, believed to be accompanying Anwar in making the statement.

Other PKR leaders who were waiting to get the latest news on Anwar at the IPKKL were his daughter, Nurul Izzah, who is also the Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai, PKR vice-president Mohamed Azmin Ali, PKR information head Tian Chua, PKR Youth head Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, DAP chairman Karpal Singh and DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang.

Karpal Singh, when met by reporters, said he would endeavour to get Anwar's release as soon as possible.

Nurul Izzah, meanwhile, said she was supposed to accompany her father to the IPKKL this afternoon after promising to do so.

Meanwhile, police tightened security at all the entrants into the IPKKL following the latest development.

Within less than one hour that Anwar was at the IPKKL, about 200 of his supporters were seen waiting outside the IPKKL compound. - BERNAMA

UPDATE 3 ANWAR ARREST

FROM AFP:

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was arrested on Wednesday, police said, over allegations that he sodomised a male aide which threaten to thwart his plan to seize power.

Anwar's wife Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said she feared for his safety, after the events of a decade ago when he was sacked as deputy premier, beaten up by the police chief, and jailed for six years on sodomy and corruption charges.

"My concern is for my husband's safety and we want access to see him," said Wan Azizah, a parliamentarian whose Keadilan party leads a three-member opposition alliance.

"I feel apprehensive because my husband is 10 years down the road, he is not that well, he has a bad back, he's had surgery and from a brief conversation, he said they (police) were not gentle," she said.

Earlier on Wednesday, Anwar dismissed the accusations as a conspiracy to prevent him from seizing power, and said it was a re-run of past events when he was slapped with charges widely seen as politically motivated.

"There's no basis for this whole fabrication and malicious attacks. It is just a repeat of the 1998 script. You can see the pattern," he told reporters. "I will challenge them on every ground."

His lawyer Sankara Nair said he was with the opposition leader in a vehicle approaching his home when a team of special forces police surrounded the car.

"The manner in which they surrounded our vehicle, it put a lot of fear and intimidation into us," he said, criticising authorities for pouncing just an hour before Anwar was due to appear at police headquarters for questioning.

Deputy national police chief Ismail Omar confirmed Anwar had been arrested, saying he was a suspect in the sodomy case and would undergo a medical examination.

"He is not being charged with anything yet, don't jump to conclusions," Ismail told AFP.

"We have to record his statement to complete our investigations," he said. "Once the facts are in we can make a decision."

Police can detain him for 24 hours after which they must apply for a court order that would allow them to keep him for up to 14 days without charge.

It was not clear why Anwar was taken into custody even though he had agreed to be questioned over assault allegations levelled by Mohamad Saiful Bukhari Azlan, a 23-year-old who was a volunteer in his office.

Sodomy, even between consenting adults, is illegal in predominantly Muslim Malaysia and carries a penalty of up to 20 years imprisonment.

The charges threaten to derail Anwar's political comeback, and his plans to oust the government with the help of defecting lawmakers, after landmark March elections that handed the opposition unprecedented gains.

Keadilan issued an immediate call for its supporters to rally outside the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters where Anwar was taken, but said they would remain cautious as they feared more arrests.

"There's a possibility that they would like to provoke so they can justify a much wider crackdown against the democratic movement in Malaysia," said the party's information chief Tian Chua.

The mood at the headquarters was tense, with up to 100 armed officers watching over about 200 protesters.

Anwar's 1998 downfall, during the Asian financial crisis which heightened his power struggle with then premier Mahathir Mohamad, triggered massive protests in a "Reformasi" or "Reform" movement that continues to reverberate.

UPDATE 2 ANWAR ARREST

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar arrested

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, who has been accused of sodomising a male aide, has been arrested outside his home, his lawyer said Wednesday.

"The police came and took him away," said lawyer Sankara Nair, who said he witnessed the arrest.

"He had just arrived home when about 10 officers detained him at the gate of his home," he told AFP.

Nair said the police did not specify what the opposition leader was being charged with, but that he would be taken to the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters.

Anwar's Keadilan party, which leads a three-member opposition alliance, issued an immediate call for his supporters to rally outside the headquarters in the city's downtown.

"Anwar has been detained by police while travelling to his home... All supporters are asked to gather" it said in a SMS text message.

ANWAR TO MEET POLICE WEDNESDAY

from asiaone:

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - MALAYSIAN opposition figure Anwar Ibrahim agreed on Tuesday to meet police on a sodomy complaint against him, hoping to avoid a potentially embarassing arrest that could further raise political tensions.

Datuk Seri Anwar will meet police on Wednesday on allegations brought against him by a former aide, his lawyer said, hoping to calm a row that has raised political temperatures and distressed foreign investors.

'We are not worried. Absolutely not,' Mr Sankara Nair told reporters. 'My client is ready to face whatever the police will do and he is going to defend himself in court.'

Mr Anwar, who is leading an effort by the opposition to seize power by September, had challenged police to serve an order on him after he failed to turn up to give his statement on Monday.

The former deputy premier was angered police attempted to serve an order on him after he had agreed to go voluntarily, Mr Nair said, but added his client still faced arrest.

But Mr Nair said Mr Anwar could still be arrested.

'I would say that I won't discount the possibility (of Anwar's arrest) if they have a case,' he said.

Mr Anwar has called for a news conference for 3pm, but further details were not immediately available.

MISSING PI’S HOME RANSACKED!

A Singapore paper had this article today.

Drawers were pulled out of cupboards and strewn about the room. Documents were thrown all over the floor. Even the childrens room was not spared.

Someone was obviously looking for something of importance at the home of Malaysian private investigator mr balasubramaniam the man behind the famous SD against najib.

The intruders left the tv, dvd player and a pricey camera equipment untouched, but only a computer seems missing.

His neighbours had reported the burglary on Thursday. About 20 policemen visited the house on Friday with his relatives.

Now the question is, who has done this and what were they searching for. Hmmm.. the mystery deepens and the plot thickens. Robbery can be totally ruled out as the motive for the intrusion can be clearly seen. What were they after?... and did they get what they came for.? This mystery is really ripe for a good novel or even a Hollywood movie . it has all the ingredients , action, murder, robbery , duress, politics, big guns, disappearance , Interpol. I bet it would be a blockbuster…..cheers

WILL THE AG DROP ANWAR’S SODOMY CASE?

A midst high tension in parliament tomorrow and the security measures taken by our man in arms, indicates something is in the wind.

With the call for vote of no confidence and the persistent rumor of a rakyat rally in the thousands have spooked a lot of people.

To add icing to the cake anwar has a date with police, in the KL headquarters tomorrow 14 july. Initially this so called police interview was suppose to be held yesterday, but after behind the scene negotiation it was postpone to tomorrow. This in it’s self shows the marked difference of the police attitude in 1998 and now. Why so?. Yes my friends they are threading on eggshells, and they have move very very cautiously .

If remember how in 1998 the police bust into his home and dragged out like a terrorist?

This time around circumstances are different, they may be arresting the future PM of Malaysia, the leader of the opposition, the most popular Politian in recent times.

Anwar is worried that after tomorrows interview he will arrested. I can bet you that will never happen. Why? You may ask. Proof ! proof ! is whats lacking. Yes they have taken statements from 20 odd people and all is circumstantial. Yes it boils down to saiful’s word against anwar’s. so who do you believe?. If it ever goes to court it will be thrown out due to weak evidence.

And I strongly doubt the AG is willing to risk his neck again, just like the previous kangaroo court. And also the AG will have to talk to badawi regarding to proceed or not. And I can bet you badawi will definitely scarp the idea. Why? For the simple reason of ratings and public perception.

I would say at least 75% of the general public perception is this latest allegation is a ploy by umno. Even if it is not true, but the public opinion once conformed will be very difficult to erase. And if you ask anyone 2 out 3 people will tell you that these latest episode has in effect elevated anwar to a even higher pedestal, through sympathy.

So all in all I can safely put a wager that the case is a dead end, and the books will closed and as much as badawi wants to move on, so will najib and gang will try to out maneuver both badawi and anwar.

What will the next round bring into the political court …your guess is as good as mine..cheers

RM$20,000 BRIBE PAID TO TOP OFFICIALS!

It was interesting to read, that our very own ACA, went undercover for 5 months to bust a ring of syndicate involving social visit visa’s.

Its highly commendable work, and, credit should be given when due. Without fear or favor takes a new meaning, in Malaysia this time around!

Imagine the rot in the civil service, and worst of all it starts from the very top.

Director-general and deputy director-general of the immigration arrested for taking bribes?

My, my this indeed a c4 story. Total of 13 people were taken in for question and answer session with the ACA. RM$150,000 was also sized, but I believe this peanuts, as the amount should run into millions if such high guns are involved. We just have to wait for the ACA to come out with more figures.

According to the star, senior officers get between RM500 and RM700 per passport for a single extension while top officers get between RM10,000 and RM20,000 per agent per month.

This is indeed a lot of money. And I believe there is also a whistle blower somewhere in the midst. A disgruntle immigration officer who did not receive his fair share. Well whatever it was, at least in this case, the ACA did not hide anything or sweep it under the rug.

So I have to eat my words this time and utter these words of praise to our ACA:

BRAVO ACA director-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan, JOB WELL DONE!

MY HATS OFF TO YOU SIR! KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK! MAY YOUR DEDICATION AND HARDWORK FIND MORE CORRUPT OFFICIALS….cheers

EZAM A TURNCOAT OR A TROJAN?

In politics you have no permanent allies or permanent enemies, so said a famous politician once.

A friend today can be you worst enemy tomorrow. That’s how dirty politics is. If you are prepared to dirty you hands in politics, then be prepared to go all the way. Yes my dear readers , that’s the dirty world of politics and non can be worse then politics in our bolehland.

In our bolehland if you are with the ruling party then you have at your disposal, the Police. The AG, the ACA, and the judiciary to help you out. And lately even the army which so far been neutral, is slowly creeping into the mainstream politics.

Yes they can shout and scream that the are independent, and will investigate without fear and favor. But how many of us will believe them?. Yes they can say I am talking rubbish, where is you proof? Ofcourse I cannot proof anything. Even though I cannot proof all these allegation does not mean it not there. I cannot show you the wind or the air we breath , but that does not mean its not there. Talk to 90% of the people in bolehland, I bet you all of them will tell you the same thing.

So badawi said he is staying on till 2010, to rectify all these perception. That’s his excuse, to clean up the house. What he could not do since 2004 to 2008, he wants to achieve in 2 years. I find it hard to believe him, and I am sure you will agree with me.

He is just there to manipulate his retirement that’s all, I doubt he is ever going to change anything. By fixing his date to leave he has pulled the rug under najibs feet, so he has handcuffed najib and gang for the next 2 years, a very clever move I would say.

Now coming to the loose cannon a one MR EZAM. The man with 6 boxes of dirt that was suppose to bring down UMNO once and for all. Where are these 6 boxes of dirt. The last I heard its some where in the UK for safe keeping or has it been sold to umno for $$$? Only GOD knows. In the star paper today he his said to challenge his one time mentor anwar to a debate. And he asking for respect and that PKR youth have no grounds to criticise him. The last I heard, is that respect is accorded and not meant to be asked. In other words its given not taken. I really cannot understand this guy, Is he a turncoat or a Trojan? The way he is play acting it looks to me he is more of turncoat. Rumors are strongly pointing at him for the latest soto mee scandal against his former mentor. Weather its true or not is not the issue here. I wonder how a man can change so much. During the 1st soto mee case he was the most harden support of anwar, saying that it’s a frame up. Now he believes anwar is a soto meeit, and that saiful is telling the truth.

Remember what I said in the beginning , in politics you have no permanent allies or permanent enemies. It all depends on which way the wind blows. Who is the chameleon here? Unfortunately for ezam, badawi has set the time table for handing over power. 2 years is along time. Anything can happen. If anwar manages to swing the bn mp’s his way and take over the government before that two years are up, I wonder what this ezam chameleon will do?. Will he bring out a different crate of boxes of dirt on PKR?.

And I wonder in the first place why our mainstream papers give this guy so much air time? Why has not other more high ranking umno stalwarts said anything, everybody keeping mum over all these current issues? I cannot understand this. Why is ezam making the most noise? He may be the scapegoat! I believe strongly this is the case.

Turncoats are never trusted in any situation, and in bolehland politics his situation is even worse.

So when the time comes, our friend ezam will be the fallguy for umno. Just wait and see, this the scenario is being played and he does not know it yet. But he’s being soto meed in broad daylight and he’s none the wiser for it. Umno is playing him like a fiddle and he still thinks by making all the noise will put him in a high pedestal, but like all turncoats he is unaware that his been screwed….and I say he deserves it….cheers

SINGAPORE MEDIA ORDERED TO TONE DOWN!

Singapore newspapers were having a field day reporting the current mudslinging campaign between anwar and najib.

Then a letter from the Malaysian commissioner Mr Parameswaran was sent recently to the papers.

The contents was simple enough:

The high commissioner said newspapers in Singapore should "treat with much more circumspection allegations or innuendoes that clearly seek to damage the character and reputation" of important Malaysian personalities. It said it was unwise for Singapore media to take sides.

"Although developments in Malaysia affect Singapore, we must be disinterested external observers, not partisan participants in their domestic politics," it said.

This letter was despatched after Today newspaper published an article "Under fire -- the First Lady-in-waiting" on June 27 which Parameswaran said had "vilified" Rosmah.

Then the Singapore big guns start their salvo. First it was george teo and then followed by lee hsien loong . The Singapore PM called for objectivity in the reports.

As in all things in Singapore, when the big guns say something, you better buckle up.

So now it was reporter in asiaone as such:

The Singapore media has sobered up its coverage of Malaysian politics after a bout of feverish reporting since the March 8 general election.

“They do publish some Malaysian reports but no specific mention of names, comments and reactions.

No more slanted reports had appeared on Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Malaysian High Commission second secretary Azhan Mohamed Yasin is a happy man as he said there were no more reports bearing lurid headlines of "turmoil" in Malaysia.

As far as I know, the only totally free reporting newspaper in the world, can only be found in “India”….. this is a fact. Don’t believe me, just try reading some of the papers from India, then you will know what I mean…..cheers

DO THEY KNOW THE MEANING OF HUNGER?

Just two days ago, Gordon Brown(Britain’s PM) was urging us all to stop wasting food and combat rising prices and a global shortage of provisions.

But yesterday the Prime Minister and other world leaders sat down to an 18-course gastronomic extravaganza at a G8 summit in Japan, which is focusing on the food crisis.

The dinner, and a six-course lunch, at the summit of leading industrialised nations on the island of Hokkaido, included delicacies such as caviar, milkfed lamb, sea urchin and tuna, with champagne and wines flown in from Europe and the U.S.

Can we trust this hypocrites’ to solve the world food crisis? The irony of it all!!!!

A wise man once said:

We hang petty thieves and appoint great ones to public office ! .. how sad but true.

LADIES IF YOU PLAN TO HAVE BABIES AVOID….

COFFEE !!!

Four cups of coffee a day seriously damage a woman’s chances of having a baby, research suggests.

The effect is almost as bad as the problems in pregnancy caused by alcohol, smoking or being overweight, a fertility conference heard.

Women drinking that much caffeine were 26 per cent less likely to have a baby — adding to evidence that it can harm fertility and the health of an unborn baby.

The Dutch researchers followed the health and habits of 9,000 women with fertility problems for up to 13 years.

When the researchers from Radbout University in Nijmegen looked at why some women conceived naturally and others didn’t, they found lifestyle played a critical role.

Those who drank four or more cups of coffee, tea or other caffeinated drinks a day were 26 per cent less likely to have had a baby, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology’s annual conference in Barcelona was told.

Having three or more alcoholic drinks a week had the same effect, while being slightly overweight cut the chances of getting pregnant.

Smoking still appeared to be the most damaging, with more than one cigarette a day cutting the odds by more than a third.

Professor Ledger a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology added that caffeine could also damage sperm, meaning that men should also think about how much tea or coffee they drink.

The British Coffee Association conceded that previous studies had shown a high intake of caffeine delayed conception, but insisted smoking was worse.

Spokesman Zoe Wheeldon said: ‘Scientific evidence demonstrates that for pregnant women or those trying to conceive up to 300mg of caffeine per day is perfectly safe.

WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE?

A short story (recycled from a earlier post)

THERE was once a very clever smuggler. He comes to the border checkpoint with

a donkey carrying straw.

The border police are aware that this man is a smuggler. so they take apart the straw

looking for the illegal valuables . but alas! they found noting.

We are sure you are smuggling something, said the border police as the man crossed the border.

the next day the same thing happened, but this time the border official went high tech.

they brought in a x-ray machine, thinking that they will find something inside the donkey.

but to their dismay , found noting again.

now each day for the next 12 years the man came to the border with the donkey, and the

officials searched and searched the straw bundles and the donkey but never found anything.

many years later, the retired old border official , met the same smuggler in a coffee shop.

said the official , i beg you please, tell me what were you smuggling?.

the smuggler just smiled and said "DONKEYS".... I WAS SMUGGLING DONKEYS YOU IDIOTS!

the irony of it all.... the obvious is not so obvious.....common sense is not that common.

This story reminds me of how some elements in our bolehland actually do their job. I will not name these elements , lest I be seditious. I will leave that to your imagination.

Imagine, the whole country is looking for the PI and his family? Now even the Interpol has been activated. Is the intelligence community in our country so lacking that the don’t know their left hand from right hand. I just cannot understand which idiot is running that organization. In the eyes of the world, we must look like real morons.

Let me relate a true incident without naming names and places about how effective intelligence gathering works in a neighbours country.

A close friend of mind works in some sensitive project for the particular government, related to defense systems. Mind you he is not even in the military, just an engineer, contracted to work on some infra structure . then one fine day he decides to take a holiday after the completion of the project. Since he did not want to go far, he just flew to a neighbouring country for a short holiday. He has many friends in the country he was visiting. And of his friend he visited was an army officer, whom he had seen for ages. They had a good time , catching up with the old times and talking about family and friends.

Finally when the holiday was up, he flew back to his country, and can you imagine his surprise when two military intelligent officers were waiting for him, at the immigration clearance. They produced their warrants and my friend was escorted away to an unknown location and interrogated for 12 hours on his purpose of visit to the foreign land.

To his shock , they had every detail of his visit, photographs, time, places and what have you. They were particularly interested in his meeting with his army buddy. Well to cut the story short , I guess you know what they we barking at. I brought out this incident to show how intelligence gathering works. And how efficient some people are, which is very lacking in our boleh land. Imagine losing a high profile PI just like that, they were caught with their pants down.

Take my hats off to the PI though,……he really went PRIVATE!

Anyway if you wandering what happened to my friend after that, well noting really. He was allowed to go home, but guess what, he never got another government contract again….cheers

THE UNCHANGEABLE

A TALE FROM MIDDLE EAST

FATE (recycled from an april08 posting)

ONE day a servant came running into the court of king Solomon.

please your highness I beg you, let me borrow your fastest horse. I need to be in a city ten miles from here before night fall, he begged of the wise king.

Puzzled, at such a request from his servant,

Why? asked the king.

because, I just met DEATH in the garden, said the trembling servant. I know I'm to be taken and I don't want to be around here when DEATH comes to claim me.

the wise king feeling sorry for the servant, said take my fastest magical horse with hoofs of wings.

grateful, the servant bowed and left in haste.

then later in the evening, while king Solomon was walking in the garden, he saw DEATH sitting by the pond with a very worried look on his face.

being a fair King , he asked DEATH, what's wrong?, why the worry in your face?

to this DEATH said:

I'm supposed to claim the life of your servant tonight.

but i'm supposed to claim his life in a city ten miles of here!

Unless he has a horse with wings, I don't see how this can happen.

I'm a strong believer of fate.

Everything we do, or don't do, i strongly feel is fated.

Will anwar be the next PM

Will najib be the PM

Will badawi remain to continue

whatever is written in the book of fate will just go on, amidst all that’s happening around us. I doubt a mortal can do anything to change even a dot that’s already written in the books. So my friends don’t be stress out , everyday that’s born has its article already written out. All that it needs is for it to continue on its own stage , playing out lifes drama as it should. We are just mere props or additional actors required by the play to continue on it journey as it plays out its part. Most important is live out you life to the fullest possible and as an unknown author puts it:

“do whatever good possible for a fellow human being now, as you will not pass this way again”……leave you with that though for now….cheers
